Therapeutic Approach
Dimitria’s approach is person-centered, relational, and non-pathologizing. She works from a person-centred and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed lens, helping clients develop self-leadership and deeper connection to their internal world. Depending on each client’s goals, she also integrates a range of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She is currently completing certification in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to deepen her work in values-based living and psychological flexibility.
Sessions are collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to support each client’s
unique pace, story, and strengths. Whether you’re working through emotional
overwhelm, grief, disconnection, or desire for change, Dimitria offers a warm and supportive space for reflection, insight, and growth.
