I am a Registered Psychotherapist with nearly three decades of experience supporting adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, burnout, ADHD, chronic stress, and difficult life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and trauma-informed. I ground my work in evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT and DBT, while drawing from mind-body approaches, such as EMDR and somatically based practices to support deeper and more sustainable change. I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs and goals, helping clients better understand the relationship between their nervous system, emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and functioning so they can move from simply coping to values based functioning and living more sustainably.
Therapeutic Approach
Registered with CRPO since 2016, I have a passion for communication, empowerment and awareness in my practice. I also have formal training in Kinesiology and Yoga. The blend of both movement and stillness as healing tools is something else that I am passionate about teaching to my clients.
Because of this, I believe that an individualized, integrative approach to mental health yields the best results. The assistance provided through psychotherapy and life coaching can add much comfort and efficacy to this journey.
